ECO TIP: Washing Windows

If you have little kids or pets like me, you have smudgy windows.  All the time.

Easy eco-friendly way to clean windows -

• Fill an empty spray bottle with half water and half white vinegar
• Spray on windows
• Wipe down with newspaper or coffee filters.

No dust residue, no streaks.  Clean windows without chems!

ECO-Friendly TIP: Vinegar fabric softener

DID YOU KNOW?

Fabric Softener may make your towels ultra soft, but it decreases the towel's ability to soak up water!

It may not be drastic, but you can use vinegar instead of softener!  It doesn't damage your laundry, fights residue, such as soap in the wash cycle AND it'll make your clothes soft!

This is great if you have someone in the family with sensitive skin - we have 2 with eczema, and fabric softener makes the skin irritation flare up!

TRY IT!  Add some vinegar to your rinse cycle next load!
